Congratulations, you're engaged! Now that you’ve said “yes” to your perfect partner, it’s time for one more important proposal: Your bridesmaid proposals. You can keep it short and sweet, or elaborate and gimmicky. Whichever way you choose to propose to your bridesmaids, make sure they know the VIP status they hold in your life and, hopefully, on your big day. So, either in person or in a note, tell them how much their relationship means to you, share some memories, and explain why they are so deserving of a spot in your wedding squad. Read on for some inspiration, whether you’re planning an in-person bridesmaid proposal or from a distance!

Host a Wine Night
You can gather your bridesmaids for a wine tasting or drinks night at your home as one of our favorite festive bridesmaid proposal ideas. The final ready-to-sip selection should be presented at the end of the evening: a delicious white or red varietal with a custom label that playfully invites your girls to be your bridesmaids. The rest of the night will be spent toasting to yourselves!
Send Your Friends a Scratch-Off Card
Play a fun game by making a card with a scratchable portion. The envelope should contain a penny for scratching. Your friends will find a message under the scratch-off portion of the card asking them "Will You Be My Bridesmaid?" You can do this in person or by mail!
Create a gift box
Simple gift boxes filled with wedding-themed items are a safe--and thoughtful--bet if quirky or nontraditional gestures aren't your thing. Give the box a handwritten note as well as a mini bottle of bubbly, nail polish, and sheet masks!
Set up a Coffee Date
Having trouble getting the squad together at once? Don't worry. Get together with each person for a special coffee date. The barista can write the question on the cup instead of your friend's name if you bring a personalized mug. Make sure your friend reads it before she drains her coffee!
Send Flowers
The bridal party can also be asked with flowers by sending bouquets they'll love. Remember how great it is to get flowers? Send hand-picked arrangements to your soon-to-be bridal crew's home or office address. Put a "Will You Be My Bridesmaid?" question in the accompanying card!
Host a boozy brunch
Nothing says “engaged” like bottles of bubbly, so plan a morning of eggs Benedict, mimosas, and a very important question. Invite your pals to a brunch spot, where you can propose over bacon and breakfast drinks. This will be the first of many shared meals to come!
Bake Them Goodies
You can make batches of your kitchen specialty if you're a bride-to-be who loves to bake. Your friends will appreciate your sugary treat, whether it's cookies, cake, or pie. Write the big question on a card or in frosting if you're good at icing calligraphy!
Once you’ve popped the question, make sure you get ready to find them the perfect dresses by booking your appointment with us!
